Festival opening, act II

With a political exchange on rules and adaptation
And an inauguration of the director of behavior by Michael Portnoy
Performance

After the opening opera piece by Lulu Obermayer, we go down to everyday Graz, to Mariahilferplatz, one of the most lively squares in town, where real life happens and society thrills. This is where we open the festival with a short, informal discussion about rules and regulations in our town. Are there too many of them? Too few? What could politics change? We will hear opinions—until new voices add their grain of salt to the conversation, and a brand-new political figure for Graz is introduced. We will have to follow his instructions. One of the exhibition venues—the Church of Ruined Modernity—is also on the square.
