ILYICH is a project by artist and musician Anton Kats (1983, Kherson, Ukraine). Oscillating between popular electronic music—infused with soul and jazz elements—and discursive sonic improvisation, ILYICH performs both in gallery and museum settings as well as in clubs and on festival stages. He has appeared on The Lot Radio and BBC 6 Music, at Roskilde Festival; Fusion Festival, Lärz; Festsaal Kreuzberg, Berlin; and Bergen Kunsthall, among others. He lives in Berlin.
